The survivors of the war are brought to the Fortress of Light where they can breathe freely now that theyve won. But Faragonda has lost too much for it to feel like a victory. Especially after what happened on the battlefield has left her and Hagen with a complicated situation on their hands and feelings that neither of them knows how to navigate.
