Neutrals are often casualties of any war, even wars of giant alien robots from a far away planet. Many neutrals left cybertron during the Great Exodus, managing to slip past Megatrons blockade, only to be destroyed by a Decepticon Patrol ship. Well this story is a story of the survivors of those battles.
