Based on Inafunes attempt to reboot MMX, this story finds X locked into a battle with the remnants of Sigmas rebellion known as the X-Hunters. Having heard of them acquiring the deceased Zeros parts, X embarks on a desperate missions to stop the eight Maverick generals and reclaim the parts of his friend in hopes of possibly rebuilding him.
