This is based upon the Biblical book of Ruth. In modern Iraq, Ruth, an Iraqi Christian, lives happily with her husband and his family. However, when fighters from the Islamic State invade their land and tragedy strikes, the surviving Ruth, decides to accompany her mother-in-law home. Yet Ruth soon begins to learn that God can work good even in the most dire of circumstances.
