how would others describe you?

she takes herself too seriously. she is dramatic and has a tendency to be impulsive. she wants to believe there is an upside to everything, but the way her cards have been dealt she feels it hopeless to wish for such things.

too many times she's been knocked down. too many times she was never good enough, never attractive enough, and dare she say it out loud? never smart enough.

she wasn't with the in-crowd, and she was hardly with the out crowd. she was in her own world, her own sanctuary. she never fit into one particular place, so she made up her own game and played by her own rules. she built her family from practically nothing, choosing specific pieces—people—who'd allow her to

ing out the best in them while they aided the best in her.

she is fiery, stubborn, confident, strong and perhaps not the most rational. she's usually a little too honest. she goes heart first into everything she does, most of the time losing her wits in the process.

she's discovered she cares about how others feel inside more than how they feel about her. she's been through a lot in her life and uses what she's experienced to help others. she believes the darkness in her can make her stronger, more resilient and ultimately a happier person if she doesn't run from it.

sometimes she gets too wrapped up in her own world and gets lost from time to time, but she always finds her way back, sharing with others the lessons she's learned. she uses her story to make others feel less alone, to help people be able to tell their own stories and find their voice.

being able to be vulnerable with her emotions without seeing that vulnerability as a weakness is one of her greatest strengths. she can smile in the face of adversity knowing she will come out stronger in the end.
