11. Future Unknown (1/2)

gregorian12: i'll consider him, but it'll have to be in the second half of the story, since eric's counterpart was in the timeranger episode.

in the cryo prison, ransik was staring at the communication device, showing a holographic recording of the last battle. it showed tronicon marching through the city, as time shadow dashed towards it. time shadow then slashed tronicon twice with its sabers in an x shape, making sparks come out of it, as time shadow boosted itself up.

ransik slammed his fist against the table, turning the device off, then he turned to frax, as gluto and narida - who sat down on her couch - both watched.

"you sent a robot to destroy the rangers?!" ransik exclaimed.

"uh..." frax stuttered, moving back, as ransik approached him. "i-i-i-i was only trying to capture the city for you?"

"fool! only a mutant has the power to destroy the rangers!" ransik snapped, clutching his left fist.

he fired a beam from his fight hand, which hit ransik and knocked him down, as electricity came out of him.

"all of you robots are useless!" ransik snapped.

he turned and walked off, then nadira followed, glaring at frax as she did.

"ah." she said, as gluto followed her.

some of the electricity hit a panel near frax, which made him turn to it.

"what?" he muttered.

he stared at a screen, showing a skull and crossbones against a black and yellow striped circle, with the words 'x-vault' above it.

"can it be?" he said.

he reached up and touched a small slot with the same words and picture on, which then retracted and showed a key inside.

"ha, ha!" he laughed, his eyes popping out as he took the key. "it really does exist."

later, he walked through a dark, dusty room inside the prison, looking around.

"x-vault? x-vault? where could it be?" he wondered.

he kept looking around.

"it's got to be around here somewhere?" he said.

he looked around, before spotting a door.

"ah. there it is." he said. "yes."

he approached the door.

"all the rumors were true. the most vicious of criminals locked..." he said, putting the key in the lock, unlocking the door. "..in the legendary x-vault."

the door opened up, showing several containers of mutants on a shelve, which all had the symbol on.

"ha, ha." he said, his eyes popping out. "just the mutant i was hoping to find."

he picked up one of the canisters from the shelve.

intro:

time force!

wes

ings out his chrono saber, then all the rangers turn around on a building.

time force!

the rangers stand near the time gate, then all spin around on a building again.

power...rangers!

they all stand together, then lucas presses his chrono morpher.

the rangers - minus wes - all stand together while looking around through visual scanner sunglasses.

the transwarp megazord whacks the shadow winger into the time gate.

racing to...

the time flyers fly through time and space, then the rangers spin around onboard the time ship.

..another time

dinosaurs gasp as they see the time flyers, which then flew over the egyptians in ancient egypt.

chrono...

neil armstrong gasps as shadow winger flies past him on the moon.

..morphers are...

the rangers suits all light up slightly, with lines going down the helmets.

wes stands near his dad's mansion and smiles.

wes slashes through some cyclobots with his chrono saber.

lucas slashes some cyclobots with his chrono saber.

paige dashes past some cyclobots while firing her v6 blaster.

jen runs along a street, then the rangers - minus wes - run away from the time ship.

the rangers all ride their vector cycles along a street.

the time ship blows up, then alex twirls around to avoid ransik.

time force - time force!

the rangers stand together as an explosion goes off behind them.

the transwarp megazord stands above people in the year 3000.

ransik stands in front of some cyclobots.

nadria rips off her civilian clothes in a store, showing her battle armour, and freaking out the customers while she smiles.

it then fires at the clock numbers one-by-one.

..rangers time force!

time force megazord mode red holds up its saber, as a clock appears in front of it.

the ends of the saber move up slowly.

the rangers all look up at the clock tower.

in the clock tower, katie was sitting on a windowsill, writing in a book, before she closed it up. she then lifted up a picture from inside it, showing herself, her parents, and her

other.

"ah. i miss you guys so much." she sighed.

"hey, katie." trip said.

katie turned to him as he approached her with a glass of juice.

"here you go." he said, handing it to her.

"thanks." katie said, taking it.

she then drank some juice from it, before trip spotted her picture.

"oh. you really miss your family, huh?" he inquired, as paige came over.

"sometimes, the only thing that keeps me going, is knowing someday i'll see them again." katie explained.

"i can relate." paige sighed. "i miss my family too."

"i never thought we'd be here so long." katie sighed.

"don't worry. we're gonna make it home." trip assured.

"you're right." katie said. "you're absolutely right."

wes, jen and circuit meanwhile, were staring at the communication device, which showed a recording of the raimei tank in the city.

"it's a shame the raimei tank was destroyed." circuit said. "it could've been a big help to us in this time period."

trip, katie and paige all turned to him, as jen walked towards the table.

"circuit, run a check on weapons systems of 2001?" jen asked, turning off the device as she walked around the table.

"you got it." circuit said.

jen walked off slightly, but then stopped and turned around.

"even thought your dad's tank failed, the city might have other resources that can help us fight ransik." jen told wes.

"this is strange." circuit said. "according to my databanks, raimei never existed."

"never existed?" lucas inquired, approaching circuit with the others. "how is that?"

"until ransik showed up, there was no need for raimei to be invented." circuit explained. "but after he arrived, the city had to defend itself, and the course of history was changed."

this shocked the rangers.

"then all our futures could be altered." trip gasped.

"you mean, our families, our friends, everything might be diffrent?" katie asked worriedly.

"yes. that's very possible." circuit said.

the future rangers all looked at each other, then katie turned and walked off, as wes came towards the others - expect jen.

"hey, can we look on the

ight side here?" he said.

"there's a

ight side?" paige inquired, folding her arms.

"well, who knows." wes said, touching trip's and lucas' shoulders. "maybe the future will change and be even better."

"i don't want it to be better." katie muttered, sitting down. "i want it to be just the way it was when we left."

wes chuckled as the others turned to her.

"what's the matter?" he asked. "you don't like it here?"

"it's fine here..." katie said, getting up and turning to him. "..but it's your home, not mine."

she walked past him, then he turned around as she walked past the others. he then looked down and picked up her picture, then stared at it, as paige came towards him.

"i understand why she's worried." paige whispered. "i feel the same."

wes turned to her, before they both stared at katie.

in the cryo prison, frax sniggered as he walked down a hallway, while carrying the container. a door then opened in front of him, then he peeked inside the main room.

"hello?" he called. "anyone here?"

he looked around and saw the room was empty, making him snigger as he walked inside.

he then put the mutant down in the cryo chamber, which was half red, half white down his body, had spikes on his legs, with some purple, green and red - yellow on the red half - on his shoulders, and was called vexicon.

"it won't be long now, mutant" frax smirked.

he backed away as the chamber's door closed, then pressed a button on its panel.

"yes." he sniggered, walking off slightly.

smoke began to enter the cryo chamber, making frax snigger, then the door opened, and vexicon came out.

"where's ransik?" he demanded, holding up a sword.

"forget about him!" frax snarled. "i released you from the x-vault. if it weren't for me, you would be frozen for life!"

vexicon stared at him.

"now, listen up." frax said, touching his shoulder before they walked off. "here is what you're going to do."

later, in the city, a bunch of people were walking around in the plaza, as a man read a newspaper, while sitting on a small wall. he drank a cup from a paper cup, as a bunch of colored bombs with a plunger on the bottom, rolled across the ground, making a few people turn to them. the bombs all sat up on their plungers, and then blew up, knocking people into the air.

"ahhh!" a man moaned.

he hit the ground hard, then more people turned and ran off, as more bombs rolled along the ground. one bomb then exploded near a small bush, knocking three men off their feet.

"ahhhh!" they yelped, before hitting the ground.

"that's right, run away!" vexicon sneered, resting his sword on his shoulder. "you puny humans are no match for me!"

he turned around and walked off.

"i almost forgot how much fun freedom can be." he said.

he held up some more bombs, then threw them away and walked forward.

nearby, frax stared down at him from behind a railing near some steps.

"the city will soon be mine." he said.

in the clock tower, circuit stood near the communication device on the table, showing vexicon in the city.

"mutant attack!" he exclaimed.

wes and lucas both ran down a set of steps, as jen, trip and paige all walked towards the table, while katie sat on a crate. they all then gathered around the table and stared at the device.

"it's vexicon." jen said. "he's from the x-vault."

"the x-vault?" wes inquired, confused. "what's that?"

"it's a certain part of the prison that holds only the worst of the worst mutants." lucas explained.

wes looked confused.

"it holds the most dangerous mutants ever." paige gulped. "my dad said some were nearly impossible to capture."

"okay." wes understood. "let's go."

they all turned around and ran off, but then trip stopped and turned to katie.

"katie?" he said. "come on."

katie turned to him, then put her book down, got off the crate, then turned and ran towards him, then he turned around as they ran of join the others.

in the city, vexicon laughed as he stood near a tower.

"i'm bored." he said, putting his hand on his chin as he looked around. "i need some action. aha."

he kicked some bombs away as he stared at some buildings, then aimed his sword at them, before they blew up, destroying parts of the buildings. he then walked off down a square, resting his sword on his shoulder.

"this is too easy." he sighed. "i need a challenge."

he turned around, and saw the rangers flying the time jet towards him.

"huh?" he muttered.

the time jet flew over the area.

"let's go!" jen said.

she jumped off it, followed by wes, katie, paige, trip and lucas, then they all landed in the square, with their backs to vexicon, who laughed. (paige was between katie and trip)

"pink!" jen shouted, turning around, holding her morpher up, with her left hand on her forearm.

"red!" wes shouted, doing the same, followed by the others.

"blue!"

"yellow!"

"orange!"

"green!"

"time force!" they all shouted, holding up their badges as they glowed.

"what do you want?!" vexicon snarled.

"you're under arrest, vexcion!" wes shouted, pulling his badge back. "why don't you make it easy on yourself and surrender peacefully!"

"and be locked up again?" vexcion sneered. "no way!"

"don't say we didn't warn you!" katie gritted.

she

ought out her chrono saber in double blade mode - as the others did the same - then charged at him. he then lowered his sword, and fired a blast from it, hitting her in the chest.

"ah!" she moaned, falling onto her back.

lucas and trip both somersaulted forward, then dived down with their sabers, trying to slash him, but he blocked them with his sword, and then kicked them both in the chest.

"uh!" they moaned, as they went flying away.

trip twirled around sideways in the air, before they both hit the ground.

paige then charged at vexicon, then tried to slash him with her saber, but missed as he ducked, before he slashed her across the chest, knocking her down.

"uh!" she moaned, hitting the ground on her chest, before she rolled away.

"huh?" vexicon muttered, turning left.

jen rolled forward with her saber, then turned to vexcion, and then fired a laser from her saber at him, but he deflected it with his sword, hitting her in the chest.

"aghhh!" she moaned.

she rolled along the ground, then stopped, and then wes got in front of her, before turning to her.

"jen!" he cried, crouching down. "that does it!"

he put his saber in his right hand, then jumped and dived towards vexicon, trying to stab him, but missed as he dodged slightly, and then wrapped his arm around the saber. he then slashed wes on the shoulder with his sword, then laughed as a tiny gun emerged from his chest.

"what?" wes gasped.

the tiny gun fired rapidly at wes, hitting him all over, before he was knocked away, landing near jen as she got to her knees.

"wes, are you okay?" she asked, as the others gathered around them. (paige was on lucas' left)

"yeah!" wes moaned.

they all turned to vexicon as he laughed.

"you call this a challenge?" he laughed.

"time to take it up a notch!" jen decided. "v-weapons!"

they all

ought out their v-cannons and aimed them at vexicon.

"fire!" they shouted, firing them.

the blasts all shot towards vexicon, but he knocked them all aside with his sword.

"i don't believe it!" wes exclaimed.

"you can't stop me with those toys of yours." vexicon sneered.

"i don't believe it." lucas muttered. "our weapons didn't even scratch him."

"we can't give up!" wes said. "there has to be a way."

"think fast?" vexicon dared, holding up a bomb.

he tossed it at the rangers, which then hit and knocked them all down.

"ahhh!" they moaned.

"so long, suckers!" vexicon snarled, waving.

he turned left and walked off.

"he's getting away!" wes grunted, pulling himself up.

the others followed, and then they ran after him.

vexicon then showed up in a parking lot, approaching a few empty cars, then stared in at ones front seats.

"i hope you're insured." he joked, dropping a bomb into it.

he laughed as he walked off, before the car blew up, taking a few others with it.

the rangers then arrived, first wes, then lucas, paige, katie, trip, and then jen.

vexicon stopped and turned around to them, as they all dived forward, and then grappled him from all around. (paige was between lucas and wes) he then spun around slightly and knocked them all away, making them roll away, then lucas clutched his shoulder as he got up.

vexicon then shot fire from his mouth, hitting lucas in the chest, then paige, then wes, then katie, and then trip and jen. he then held up a bomb, then tossed it at the rangers, which exploded and knocked them all into the air. trip and katie both got knocked past each other, followed by jen and lucas, and then paige and wes twirled around in the air as they dived forward.

"aghhh!" they moaned.

they all landed on the ground, wes and lucas on his chest, jen on her side, the others on their backs. vexicon laughed as he turned around and then walked off, as wes grunted while pulling himself up, before he chased after him.

vexicon got onto a small walkway wall near a small wall with a railing on top.

"time for a new game." he smirked, turning right, seeing some people. "i'll give you three seconds to get away."

he aimed his sword at them, making a man stumble back against another retaining wall, before he fell onto it, and then off it. more people ran off as another man crouched near him.

"3-2-1." vexicon counted quickly.

he aimed his sword at the two men, who panicked.

"time's up." vexicon joked.

the men gasped as he fired.

"noooo!" wes cried, getting in front of them.

the blast hit him in the chest, making him fall to his knees.

"uh!" he moaned.

he clutched his chest as the others ran towards him.

"wes!" katie gasped.

trip crouched beside wes and touched his shoulder, as jen and paige got behind him and turned to the men.

"are you okay?" trip asked.

"uh-huh." wes replied.

"how 'bout you two?" jen asked, staring at the men.

they both nodded.

"good, get to safety." jen said.

"we'll handle this guy." paige said.

both men turned and ran off, as the rangers all turned to vexicon, who laughed.

"so you've come back for more, rangers?" he inquired, holding up a bomb, before throwing it away. "catch!"

wes pulled himself up just as the bomb rolled past them all, and then exploded.

"aghhhh!" they all moaned.

a few more then exploded, causing them all to fall down between two small retaining walls.

"silly rangers!" vexicon spat. "you have no idea who you're dealing with."

he turned left and jumped over the wall, and landed on the ground.

the rangers all moaned as they powered down, before they pulled themselves up.

"come on." jen said, walking off. "he couldn't have gone far."
