chapter 6

dr. burro spent many months and quite a bit of coin to make one of the most high tech, prestigious laboratories in the united kingdom. it was in a half dome shape, workstations surrounding five metal testing chairs, and the best led lights money could buy. while designing it, he took the liberty of painting the walls a sky blue color, even adding some paintings of marine animals. he thought that the art would give his scientists a relief from testing and studying chemicals all day. and, although he imagined his lab and workers were going to achieve astonishing feats, placing millions into his investments over countless years of planning for one of the greatest discoveries in science, here he was, helplessly watching it crumble like a baby antelope hiding in the tall grass. the lion, ripping apart his herd, causing thick red blood to splatter on his paintings and his face. he couldn't stop the shaking, it was embarrassing to appear so weak and vulnerable in the eyes of an unstoppable predator. of course, the doctor had to put his life above embarrassment. as the notorious harry hart demolished his laboratory and his men, he could hear a faint whisper coming from behind him. slowly, he veered his head in it's direction. there he was, eggsy unwin, seeming very deceased just moments before, started to

eathe. but how? did his vaccine work? was he truly alive or perhaps just leftover air escaping his lungs? he leaned in closer, wanting to hear more, something indicated that his boy, his patient, was still with the living.

a light

eeze flowed through eggsy's hair, his face was warm with rosey cheeks, and his eyes were gleaming. he was floating above the tailor shop, but he didn't question it. as he gently gilded downward, feet still in polished oxfords, he warmly opened the door to the kingsman tailors. upon entering, he locked eyes with harry hart, who was gingerly sitting on the couch.

"it's nice to see you again, my dearest friend." the older man patted a sit next to him on the sofa.

eggsy slowly placed one foot in front of the other, "a'rry, how did you get here? i thought-"

harry quickly raised his palm,"uh, uh, uh. eggsy, we discussed this before, i told you i would be waiting for you. you must remember?"

"i, i do remember. i just thought that i would...that i could.."

"what? live? eggsy, listen to me. this place was designed for you, for us, to be happy. we both lived our lives for what they were but now it's time to stop. it's time to put our worries and losses behind us and for once in our goddamn lives, find peace." harry was slightly shaking in his words. he kept his palm raised, and his eyes closed.

eggsy stopped in place, not moving an inch further,"a'rry, what are you talking about? this doesn't seem like you."

harry stood suddenly and stared into eggsy's eyes with an emotion he couldn't quite read. the warm and comfort eggsy felt just seconds before had faded, and the pain he once felt in that metal chair was returning. he started to walk backwards toward the door in which he entered moments prior. "a'rry, i don't know what's happening." eggsy started to feel his eyes swell and tears forming. harry was suddenly just inches away from him, now placing his arms around eggsy. it was as if it was the very first time he became really ill. he had his mother's em

ace which filled his heart with such reasurrence, he felt like he could fly to the moon. and now, here harry was, giving him warmth and guidance, but not in the same way his mother did. it was stronger, more intimate. he didn't feel scared by it, but rather just wanted it more.

"how do i stop this, a'rry, please help me. i'm in so much pain and i don't know what's happening, please."

harry squeezed his arms tighter around his confused partner, "i'm coming to you, i'll take you away from this place. i promise you, i promise you eggsy, i will do everything to save you. i'm here. i'm finally here."
