marinette dupain-cheng woke up in the family bakery to hear her mother calling, "marinette wake up. your going to be late on you first day of school" marinette is a 14 year old girl who has hair as dark as night and pretty bluebell eyes. she wears a black jacket over a white flower print t-shirt, get trousers are a hot pink.

eakfast but she spilt the milk, stood in the milk lid then tripped. she slammed her hands onto the table for balance but hot a spoon which flipped into a bag of flour causing the flour to fall on the floor. a white cloud flew up upon impact of the flour hitting the floor. she stood back in shock and almost instantly apologized " i am so sorry mum. i am such a clutz. i will clear up the mess in a minute." marinette's mother was very kind "don't worry marinette i will clear up the mess. get ready, i wouldn't want to make you late on you first day back by making you clear it now would i"

marinette left her house. she was waiting to cross the road when she saw an old chinese man who had a walking stick (master fu) in the middle. looking down the road she saw a car speeding towards the crossing. without thinking twice she leapt into the the road. she grabbed his arm then pulled him out of the road. they both sat down where they normally do when the bully chloe bourgeois came over to them. chloe was the daughter of the mayor of paris. she could do whatever she wanted and not get in trouble for it. she would always say after " i don't think my daddy would like to hear about this" because her father was mayor no one dared to challenge her.

she turned to marinette " you do realise who my daddy is. i could have him get you permanently excluded do if i was you i would just move seats." alya spoke up " why do you want our seat anyway chloe." chloe told them about her best friend 'adrikins' sitting in front and she wanted to be as close as possible. "didn't you know that the famous model adrien agreste will be coming to this school." chloe waited for them to move but they didn't budge.

adrien didn't turn up to school and chloe was getting worried so she gave him a call. "adrikins why were you in today? i am starting to think you don't want to see me" she started to cry when adrien spoke. "chloe, i tried to but you know how strict my father is and he doesn't want me to go to school. i will try to persuade him to let me go tomorrow" fortunately chloe believed him because it was part of the truth.

(earlier that day) " please natalie. let me go. i just want to see what school is like for once. tell father that you didn't get to me in time." adrien pleaded natalie to let him but her response was the same "as your father's assistant i have to look after you. that means of he doesn't want you to go to school then i can't let you" adrien was looking around for another way in when he saw an old chinese man with a walking stick who had fallen over and unfortunately couldn't reach the walking stick to get back up. instantly adrien ran over to him to help him up. master fu asked adrien " why did you help me? now you cant go to school." upon hearing this adrien turned around to see natalie and his body guard waiting for him. he replied with " i know not many people would've helped so i did the right thing. i would much rather help you than to be selfish and go to school". adrien walked back to his car and left. (with master fu) he is definitely the purrfect person for the black cat miraculous.
