vlad let out a completely unnecessary sigh. it had been yet another long day; he couldn't believe he'd complained about how much he had to do when he was still just seventeen. being grand high vampire made bertrand's limitless training schedule seem like a nice holiday."tired?" erin smiled sympathetically from her place beside him on the sofa."understatement.""we can do this another time, if you want to sleep." he shook his head."no. no, they're not taking away my time with you." she was his girlfriend, and he didn't get to spend enough time with her, and this was the only normal, human thing left at the moment. besides, she'd gone to a lot of trouble to get hold of a cheap tv and a stack of dvds he suspected she'd borrowed from classmates."if you're sure... shall we watch this one first?" she held up iron man and vlad nodded; he loved the comics and he couldn't wait to see if the film was really everything his classmates had cracked it up to be. once the disc was spinning, he wrapped his arm around erin, pulling her closer as they snuggled together in front of the screen."thanks." she smiled up at him, and he knew that however busy he got, this was something he would always have time for.
