eak from the chains of fate and escape that which i am bound to become.his palm makes contact with mine and we dance our unearthly dance, weaving here and there, spinning destinies and tempting fates of the shinma whose life we hold captive.spin.i delight in the feel of warm wind through my hair. it has been far too long since i have affirmed life. but the small things slowly sink through my barriers-the feel of his hands upon mine, the warm aroma of his scent, the heat emanating from his body.and soon our haunting music ends and we drift apart once more, living-or merely existing-as though no time at all had passed. but then, time never did pass. not for beings such as us.and so i am left with a sense of desire.waiting for the time when i will grow weary of the tedium of fate.and yearning to dance our darkened waltz once again.~end~author's note: for those of you with the soundtrack for kyuuketsuki miyu (whether it's the ova or the series i am unsure; i think it's the ova) this entire fic was inspired by the track entitled "larva's waltz". it's a hauntingly beautiful track. i think this fic is more effective when read while listening to it. this is, of course, my own personal opinion.
